Facilities We Cover |
The Central (or canyons) region covers four hospitals, each is detailed. In addition all Central physicians are expected to be able to work at Layton Hospital (in the northern region) Our group of physicians is fairly large but we all know each other well. We have physicians at all career stages. Our physicians' professional interests range from pure clinical practice to involvement with teaching and administration within our group and also within the Intermountain Health system. Outside interests are broad encompassing outdoor recreation, team sports, family, church and the arts. And one race-car driver. Our physicians live in multiple areas including Salt Lake City (with many in the 9th & 9th area, Sugarhouse and the Avenues), Park City, and suburbs including Cottonwood Heights, Millcreek, Olympus cove, Holliday, Riverton and others. There is pretty much something for everyone professionally, personally and geographically.
Northern Sites (click to expand)The northern UEP region serves McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden and Layton Hospital in Layton. All northern physicians work shifts at both hospitals, fostering close communication and camaraderie.
Our diverse physician group resides across Northern Utah, including Eden/Huntsville (near Pineview Lake), Mountain Green (in Weber Canyon), Layton, Kaysville, Farmington, and Davis County. Some also commute from the Salt Lake area.
Beyond medicine, our physicians enjoy a wide range of interests, reflecting Northern Utah's vibrant culture. Many pursue outdoor adventures like hiking, boating, climbing, canyoneering, and skiing, leveraging Utah's stunning landscapes. They also engage in unique hobbies, from ranching to restoring vintage cars, and balance their lives with family and travel. The northern UEP group is a community dedicated to exceptional patient care and the unique Northern Utah lifestyle.
