Central Sites

The Central (or canyons) region covers four hospitals, each is detailed. In addition all Central physicians are expected to be able to work at Layton Hospital (in the northern region) Our group of physicians is fairly large but we all know each other well. We have physicians at all career stages. Our physicians’ professional interests range from pure clinical practice to involvement with teaching and administration within our group and also within the Intermountain Health system. Outside interests are broad encompassing outdoor recreation, team sports, family, church and the arts. And one race-car driver. Our physicians live in multiple areas including Salt Lake City (with many in the 9th & 9th area, Sugarhouse and the Avenues), Park City, and suburbs including Cottonwood Heights, Millcreek, Olympus cove, Holliday, Riverton and others. There is pretty much something for everyone professionally, personally and geographically.
